Trekkfugler

We’ve had the pleasure of doing set design for the Italian director Silvia Rossi and her new short film Trekkfugler.

The set design has been developed with frictions as an overall theme. This is also what the film deals with - the contrasts between being a human being in a modern world, the friction between modern life and nature.

We’ve focused on incorporating objects that contrasts with nature, through clean lines, modern materials and technical aesthetics. These are combined with objects than underline the idea of naturalness, through organic idioms, natural materials and artisanal qualities. In this way the set design underlines the frictions between the somewhat glossy part of the modern way of life, and the wild, organic and naturalness that we find in the surroundings.

The film is shot at Cabin Ula by Lundhagem Architects.

Trekkfugler will be launched in 2023.
